IN THE BEGINNING...

DECEMBER 1926

WMPC's founder, Reverend Frank Hemingway, gathered together the Methodist Protestant Church congregation and called for prayer. After months of dedicated hard work, using a "How To" manual, the homemade 50-Watt transmitter using rechargeable batteries was turned on for the 3-hour broadcast on the wavelength of 195 meters. WMPC has been broadcasting the Gospel ever since. WMPC is the Longest Continuously Broadcasting Christian Radio Station in America.

Our partnerships with different ministries are united together under one vision: to bring glory to God while helping you grow in your daily walk with Jesus Christ. We are connected in these relationships for the long run, learning from one another and ministering to one another. We initiate all partnerships and maintain them by a mutual agreement. These partnerships allow us to be a resource to bless the local church community including para-church ministries.
